Materials:
5 mm (US 8) needles
worsted weight in two contrasting colours
Cast on 32 stitches.
Rows 1 & 2, in colour A: Knit
Row 3, in B: k1, *k2, sl 1. Repeat from * to last stitch, k1.
Row 4, in B: purl
Row 5, in A: k1 *k1, sl 1, k1. Repeat from * to last stitch, k1
Row 6, in A: purl
Row 7, in B: k1, *sl 1, k2. Repeat from * to last stitch, k1
Row 8, in B: purl
Rows 9 and 10, in A: knit
Repeat rows 3 - 10 until you have a total of 6 repeats. Cast off knitwise.
